Huntingdon is an important bridge-head where the A1, the Great North Road, crosses the River Great Ouse near to Hinchingbrooke House once home to both the Cromwell's and then the Montagu's, The Earls of Sandwich, where in 1660 Samuel Pepys was secretary to Edward Montagu, so Huntingdon was no stranger to politics when John Major became the youngest Prime Minister of the 20th Century.

Huntingdon is one of the five principal towns in the District of Huntingdonshire, the others being St Ives, St Neots (the largest town in the County of Cambridgeshire), Ramsey site of the former Abbey and the Roman town of Godmanchester located just across the River Great Ouse from Huntingdon. We are also constructing Huntingdonshire Parish website for the village of Brampton.

My WiggleWaggle Tuesday; Fun with shapes!!

Little ones love using their bodies and spending fun times with their grown ups ! What can be more fun than watching mum be come a star and then having ago . Or seeing dad make a triangle shape and trying to copy too !!! Then everyone making a circle together and having a good old sing.
The Circle Song !!
This song is one of my Wigglers favourites. The tiny babies just love being swayed to the beat and hear their special adults singing voice. The sitting up ones love to clap their hands and have mum help them tap their knees. Toddlers and older beam at the fun of having a shout and often take the opportunity to make their own little noise or shout "hurray" as loud as they can
For me I just love watching and being part of the lovely relationships that our built and developed while we spend time having fun together.
It always makes me smile seeing the little people turn into little stars as their characters show. Click the link to hear the song :)
