QUESTION - Why should you have commercial pages here?
ANSWER - Simple, as a "widget" provider in Huntingdon the search engine entry of your own independent site will be filed under "widget providers" in the world wide directories where unless you happen the be one of the worlds largest "widget providers" it will appear some 10's if not 100's from the top of the list. Of course your could list under the UK directories or even the county, but if you provide a popular service or product you're still likely to be someway down the list.
In Huntingdon there will not be many "widget providers" so here you are very near the top, if not at the top of the list PLUS because everyone in the town and surrounding area will know of your site you will get the benefit of the visitor traffic to the entire site.
QUESTION - What will it look like?
ANSWER - It depends what you want. You can have a simple page just like J D Electrical or you can have a full site of your own like the Golden Lion Hotel. The Golden Lion has a portal page on the town web site that links users to their own web that gives them all the benefits like direct email, their own search engine listings and the potential to expand their site as much as they wish including full e_commerce facilities.
