It's really like a desert here!
As the map of average annual rainfall indicates,
the scale is mm per day, this side of the country does not get a great
deal of rain. It's not 'dry' as most of the county is below sea level
and has numerous rivers flowing through it on their way to the sea.
One draw back is the cold wind that blows in from the North Sea bringing
with it early and late season fogs.
